2021 marks 31 years on the radio for me, 29 of those in Detroit (18 at WRIF). I’ve also had a hand in programming at multiple stations and in syndication for more than 21 years.
Some of the crazy benchmarks we have passed include:
As of 2021, I will have written and produced more than 2,500 shows and specials in syndication that have aired on more than 170 radio stations across the United States.
My career total for interviews with a variety of bands and musicians will eclipse 1600 this season as well.
I released my first book in 2014 From Black To Light. My true life story of love, adventure, music, cancer, death, despair, tragedy, and triumph while interacting with rock and roll royalty.
Finally, I sit on the Board of Directors for Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit and have helped to raise just over $160,000 dollars for cancer patients in the Detroit Metro area.
